The Knappa Wall of Fame
The “Wall of Fame” was established at KHS to recognize alumni who have excelled in their chosen field. The “Wall of Fame” is endorsed by the Knappa School District Board of Directors. The purpose of the “Wall of Fame” is to give present and future students role models of achievement, and to inspire them with the knowledge that graduates from a small high school can accomplish success and contribute their talents to mankind. The selection committee continues to seek nominations for additions to the “Wall.” While a limit has been set on the number to be inducted each year, candidates not immediately selected will be placed in a pool for future consideration. Nominees may be living or deceased, must have attended KHS for at least 2 years and have graduated at least 15 years before being eligible for consideration.
The Wall of Fame Committee is currently looking for nominations for new inductees. To be considered for induction the nominated individual must meet the following criteria:
He/She must have attended Knappa High School for at least two years.
He/She must be a Knappa Graduate.
He/She must have graduated at least 15 years ago.
Nominees may be living or deceased.
The Wall of Fame committee is also looking for new members. Committee members serve five year terms. There is currently one vacancy that needs to be filled. To be a committee member you must be a Knappa High School graduate and you also must be approved by the Knappa School Board.
